About Me

  • Hello you. I'm the 36-year old Managing Director of Future Platforms. We make lovely things for mobile phones, for lots of people you've heard of (Microsoft, Hasbro, the BBC, Nokia, Channel 4) and many you won't have come across.

When I'm not doing that I read a lot, write here, and practice Aikido. I live in Brighton, a seaside town on the south coast of the UK.

"... this presses *so* many buttons for me"

It does for me as well. It manages to capture quite a lot of what I think will make a mobile game (mobile activity?) successful. I've even been thinking recently about a "fishtank" type application, much the same, where visits are recorded and one gets to see whose fish has stopped by. You can play Twitchr as much or as little as you'd like, it's easy to pick up, it offers interaction and "investment" in a community if desired, and it's constructive in its play. Good luck... have you a Sony Ericsson s710a version? You say "Nokia" so I assume not.

Bill - I'm afraid it's Nokia-only at the moment but would be possible to produce versions for high-end Sony Ericsson handsets pretty sharpish.

This is very cool! Will it ever be possible to make a version for Motorolla phones?
