  • Hello you. I'm the 36-year old Managing Director of Future Platforms. We make lovely things for mobile phones, for lots of people you've heard of (Microsoft, Hasbro, the BBC, Nokia, Channel 4) and many you won't have come across.

    When I'm not doing that I read a lot, write here, and practice Aikido. I live in Brighton, a seaside town on the south coast of the UK.

Excellent interview. It's true that in the desktop personal computing world it is gaming (and media to a lesser degree) that have driven the demand for faster machines and better rendering. The parallel to mobile is a good one to observe.

Thank you Tom,
interesting read. The direct to consumer model might change to become a reality with the web browsing in mobile devices & games made with ie. Flash (especially mobile Flash Lite).
