About Me

  • Hello you. I'm the 35-year old Managing Director of Future Platforms, a software company which creates delightful mobile experiences. We work for lots of people you've heard of (Nokia, the BBC, Orange, and EMI) and many you won't have come across.

When I'm not doing that I read a lot, write here, and practice Aikido. I share my home in Brighton, a seaside town on the south coast of the UK, with four cats and a badger.

In 2 hours time we're launching a ghost detector for mobile phones. We've done this before, but there's a couple of differences here:

  1. It's in the US - our first project across the pond
  2. It's tied into a live TV broadcast going out on Discovery.

A core team of FP all-stars are lurking in the office, with others popping in throughout the night. We'll be here til 8am or so GMT... wish us luck (and don't expect me to be coherent tomorrow)

Done this before? How many ghosts have you detected so far?

Well done Tom! Hope it went brilliantly.
